Academic Session
The Academic Session begins from mid July/First week of August and ends in the last of June every year as per dated notified by the Kumaun University Nainital. The academic session is divided into two semesters. Odd semester starts form mid July and ends in the last of December and Even Semester start form January mid and ends in the last of June. 75% attendance is mandatory in each semester.

Dress Code
In order to maintain uniformity in the outfit of the students in the College Campus a uniform dress code is prescribed for students pursuing various courses in the College. All students are required to war prescribed uniform on all working days except on Saturday which will be observed a non-uniform day. Students not adhering to prescribed Dress Code are not allowed to enter the campus and will forfeit the attendance for the classes missed.

Identity Card
The identity Card is a symbol of belonging to Unity Law College. The students enrolled in the College are expected to carry their Identity Card at all times to produce it on demand by authorized personnel for purpose of identification. It is desirable that they wear Identity Card round their neck during their presence in the College, while away on official work and visiting other Institution.

The institute considers ragging as a punishable act and any students found including in any form of ragging will be punished/expelled from the institute. Apart from this an FIR will also be lodged against the student by the institute.

  • All admission are provisional.
  • A candidate shall not be entitled to claim admission as a matter of right even if he/she is otherwise eligible. The college reserves the right to refuse admission to any individual without assigning any reason.
  • The candidate is required to produce original certificates, documents, character certificates, students of requisite percentage of marks of the qualifying examination at the time of interview/reporting for admission, failing which he/she will not be interviewed/allowed to complete admission formalities.
  • No candidate shall be admitted unless he/she has completed all eligibility requirements at the time of admission. Candidates awaiting results of their supplementary / compartment / improvement of performance examination shall not be considered / admitted.
  • Fees except caution money, once deposited by a student shall neither be returned nor adjusted under any circumstances.
  • Candidates not reporting for admission on the stipulated date and time shall forfeit their chance and the office of admission shall be given to the candidate next in order of merit. No correspondence/ communication in this regard shall be entertained.
  • The college shall not be responsible in any manner for the postal delays/courier delays/destruction.
  • If after enrolment in the College a student does not attend classes without leave for more than seven days, his/her name shall be struck off the College rolls.
  • Consuming liquor, smoking, chewing and consuming tobacco, pan masala, gutkha and/or drugs etc. are completely banned in the College campus.
  • Students have to abide by the rules and regulations enforced from time to time by the college/University/Bar Council of India.
  • The management reserves the right to make additions or alterations to the existing rules, working hours, time table, mode of training as may be deemed fit from time to time. The students shall be required to abide by the rules that are in force and may be enforced in future from time to time.
  • It shall be the responsibility of all students to take note of all the notices displayed on the Notice Board for their information and compliance. Failure to read the notices displayed on the Notice Board will not be accepted as an excuse for non-compliance of instructions.
