ABOUT UNITY LAW COLLEGE

Unity Law College , Rudrapur imparts education for the five year course after 10 + 2 and the three-year course after graduation. It is affiliated to Kumaun University, Uttarakhand. The college is approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi (BCI) and the college is open to all persons irrespective of gender, age, caste, creed and religion. The faculty is drawn from all over India and purely on merit. Reservations in admission are adhered to as per university norms.

Unity Law College, aims to give its students the independence to use the abounding opportunities availableand carve out their own niche in their future. We believe in the overall personality development of our students and encourage them to participate in co-curricular activities viz, dramatics, debates, literary and cultural activities. We give our students ample opportunities for their talents to blossom.

The Clinical Method of imparting legal education is another innovative way of teaching adopted by the college, which integrates actual field work with classroom instruction. This also reduces the gaps between law in the books and law in action.

The College will also be inviting academicians of high caliber and repute, administratores, jurists and legal luminaries from time to time for delivering extension lectures so that the students get necessary exposure. Our vision is to provide to the students the best career prospects in the emerging global market, and to equip them to become effective professionals.

Teaching Methodology

The teaching method used in the programmes includes participative classroom teaching, group discussions, seminars, assignments, extension lectures, project presentations, reports, computer applicaton, moot courts and clinical aid work etc.

College Uniform

White shirt and black trousers is compulsory for boys and girls whilst on the College campus.
